Join us Saturday Nov. 8 from 10am-12pm for a special hands-on workshop at Alchemy Farmhouse focused on these special flowers! Learn from Lauren how we grow dahlias on the farm. Enjoy Q & A on dahlias and more with your farmer.
Participants will partake in an actual farm dahlia dig and learn the steps for:
— successful tuber planting
—autumn dahlia digging
—dividing dahlia tubers
—various methods for tuber storage
All participants will take home dahlia tubers to save and plant next spring.
Come & demystify dahlias with Lauren!
Please dress in layers for outdoor participation. Closed footwear and the ability to get a little dirty are all you need to attend. No prior dahlia experience required. Please bring garden gloves if you have them.
Workshop will be held rain or shine, and only canceled in extreme weather. Tickets are non-refundable but transferrable to a friend.
